What's in a name??

Ever since I created this blog I have struggled to come up with a good name, hence the reason it has changed so many times! And the reason it pretty much doesn't have one at the moment. I really want something cute and creative that sums up what my blog is all about. I don't want something like "The McEvoy's" because everyone does that, and I can't really do "Matt and Jen" because there are 5 of us and the blog isn't really about Matt and I and he doesn't really contribute to it. So the other night I Googled it, like I do every time I have a serious question or problem that needs an answer! Google led me to a couple name generator sites but none of them were coming up with what I really wanted it. And then it clicked! Instead of using McEvoy in my title I need to use Mac, then I will be able to create a name that is fun, unique and explains what this blog is about, my family and my efforts to take care of it :)

So my wonderful readers, I need your help. Here are some names I came up with, tell me which one you like the best or suggest one you came up with yourself! I would appreciate it very much!!

House of Mac
Mommy Mac
Mac n' Cheese
The Macsters
Raising Macs

Feel free to laugh, I know they are corny! Like I said, I am not creative, I need help!! And in return I will tell you exclusively on my blog a very funny story (at least to me). I was getting ready to change Raylan's diaper and then nurse him and noticed his skin was all dry because I gave him a little sponge bath earlier. So I left and got some lotion, but some on where I could then took off his diaper and cleaned him up. I was taking my sweet time because I haven't had any accidents yet! Then I noticed he was a little wet on his leg and belly and there was a little wet spot on the blanket he was laying. Nothing major so I grabbed another wipe and cleaned it up thinking it wasn't too bad for the first time he peed without his diaper on, even though everyone knows little boys are notorious for it! Then I got distracted by Matt and all of a sudden the little man is peeing all over himself! Like almost into his face! I start laughing/freaking out looking around for something to cover it up and finally grabbed the clean diaper that was waiting and put it over the stream. But of course by then he had soaked his onesie, luckily he didn't manage to pee on his face! I was laughing so hard, it was pretty funny! So he had a second bath for the day and I guess I have been initiated into the club of moms of boys :) I will definitely be a little quicker with the diaper changes from now on! And I should probably start using some of these since I have them, pee-pee tee-pees! Haha!

how about...Jen's Pen. like, as in, your "pen" where you reside with your family (even though pens are where animals live- sometimes our kids are like animals right?") and "pen" because it's what you write. I dunno. It might be too much of a stretch but I think it sounds kinda cute!

when I used to change Talmage I just placed a little cloth over his weewee- I sure wish I had a tee-pee instead! much cooler.

OH! and then, as a subtitle for your blog you could write "the pen is mightier than the smelly diaper." because you conquer all! ha! I am so corny, please stop me now.

I'm not very creative and that's why we're just the Garlands. :) We learned with Kenneth that if we opened the diaper really quickly and then closed it again. He would pee if there was anything there and then be good until we could get a diaper on. :) I have yet to have a pee accident from Kenneth. Tim has not been so fortunate. :)

Hmm I like Raising Mac's! Or for nostalgia's sake, J.Mac (like J.Crew! haha) Or J.Mac's Crew, to continue with that one. Or you can call it "One Hott Momma" because that is what you are. Miss ya, Jen!
