New Hair Cut

Last week Matt and I went over to Barb Thornton's so we could get hair cuts. Matt has really been wanting me to learn how to cut his hair, so after she did my hair, Barb helped me cut Matt's. The only times I have cut his hair was last summer when I just shaved him bald, and a couple months ago when I just cleaned up the sides. This time I had to do the whole this with clippers and scissors. I was nervous, I didn't want to cut him or screw up his hair. And then after I trimmed the back and sides with the clippers and Barb pulled out the scissors I was really nervous, especially since Barb had to go and warn me that hair cutting scissors are really sharp and to be careful. I was so scared I was going to slice my finger open, or Barb's finger since she started just holding up the pieces of hair she wanted me to cut (I was struggling a little with that part). But his hair turned out half way decent and I LOVE how mine turned out! I have been wanting bangs ever since I saw a picture of a brunette in a magazine last year who had long straight hair and bangs and it looked really cute. I wanted to wait until me hair was longer to do it, but I was in desperate need of a new hair style so I just went for it! The only downside is that bangs make me look even younger when I already don't look old enough to be married and have a baby! But that's ok, I'm sure I will be glad that I don't look my age when I get older!
