Well I haven't posted in a while and this time a lot has actually happened that I can blog about! First of all we are currently living in the house that I mentioned we would be house-sitting in a previous post (at least I think I mentioned it) and yeah, it's not nearly as cool as we were expecting. And we have to take care of their two dogs while staying here and we are becoming less and less likely to ever have a dog of our own as the days go on! But I won't go into that, it is great to have so much of our own space after living in a tiny one-bedroom apartment for almost 2 years. Regan actually likes the dogs (most of the time) and since we moved in with them she learned her first word, yep, you guessed it, "doggy." And yesterday she started saying "shoes" but of course she doesn't really say mommy or daddy :( But I guess we give her what she wants without her yelling mommy and daddy first which I suppose is a good thing!
I am now 21 weeks pregnant and definitely feel like it! My belly has popped in the last few days but I don't have a recent picture, the most recent is from 20 weeks

which is the halfway point and an exciting milestone! I can't believe I am already halfway through this pregnancy, it has really flown by!! We also had another ultra sound, the BIG ultra sound where we were able to find out the baby's gender! We weren't planning to find out going into it but then Matt had to ask the tech to tell him the gender while I left the room (only half joking) and then all my resolve went out the window and I wanted to find out too! So we found out that we are having another GIRL!! I am sure most of you already know this but it is still very exciting news! We are very happy (and relieved) to be giving Regan a little sister. It will be so fun to have two girls so close in age and of course more affordable since we already have plenty of girl clothes! The tech got a great shot of the baby's "part" and there is no mistaking she is definitely a girl!

On Sunday we celebrated Father's Day and Matt's birthday which were both on the 19th this year. We spent most of the day with Matt's family, first at the beach and then at his parent's house where we had dinner and some delicious desert! I also made Matt cinnamon rolls in the morning (not homemade, haven't tried those yet!) and gave him his Father's Day gift which I thought was perfect.

Specially made photo blocks that say "daddy" and have pictures of him and Regan on them. He loved them and they turned out awesome! I ordered them off of etsy.com if anyone is interested, I love that site!!
We have about another week and a half in this house and then we are moving back in with Matt's parents. It will be nice having them there to help out with Regan and the new baby when she arrives. I am really grateful they are letting us live there to help us save money, they have done so much for us in the past 3 years! I am scared to move to Idaho and not have their help and support anymore. But it will be fun and will help us become more independent and closer as a family. I am really going to try and enjoy our last summer here in Maine with the beach just 15 minutes away. The first day of summer is finally here!

What a fun post! It sounds like you guys are doing well and I can't believe how tiny you look in this picture! I'm only 24 weeks along and I feel gigantic!
It will be sooo much fun to have two little girls in your house to keep each other company and play together. Congrats again and good luck with the new place :)
P.S. I'm totally with you on the dog thing--- no thank you!
