Before we moved we got to spend Alexis' first birthday and Halloween in Spokane, which was nice. Our move did get delayed due to a BAD case of Strep throat for Matt and Regan, which was very stressful and not fun at all. But I really tried to have the attitude that we just weren't suppose to leave yet and Strep was better than whatever danger we were being kept away from. The important thing is that we got here safely! So here is a little update of the last few weeks. For Halloween we went to the ward party on Saturday and then did trick-or-treating at the Mall on Halloween night. The ward party was fun and Regan enjoyed it and loved being a little bumblebee princess. Alexis was the Queen of Hearts and Matt and I dressed up as a pregnant housewife and the Milkman. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures of our costume because we thought we would be dressing up again on Halloween, but Matt and Regan were feeling pretty crappy by then so only the girls dressed up that night. Oh well, you all would rather see pictures of the girls than Matt and I anyway I am sure :) I apologize for the crummy iPod photos, it is so much more convenient than our crummy point and shoot that takes 5 minutes to take a picture.

Bumblebee princess!
Our little queen of hearts
Alexis and her friend, Little Red Riding Hood (loved that costume!)
"Hooray" for Halloween!
While we were in Spokane we took advantage of having more options for inexpensive photographers and had family pictures taken. We haven't had family pictures done since Regan was 3 weeks old, and Sears did a horrible job so I am SO happy that we now have really beautiful pictures I can be proud to show off in my home, and of course on the internet :) A lot of these have already been posted on Facebook but here are a few of my favorites. The only thing I am disappointed about is that Alexis was not happy the entire time because it was pretty cold so we don't have any of her really smiling :(
The closest thing to a smile we could get out of her :)
Shamelessly stole this pose from Pinterest ;)
For Thanksgiving we went to my sister Jessica's house in Twin Falls, Idaho. We were there for about a week and a half and it was so fun seeing her and her family. Regan and Alexis had a blast playing with their cousins. We made a pretty impressive meal for Thanksgiving dinner. I started off the day with eggnog french toast for breakfast, then Johnny made a bacon wrapped turkey and delicious loaded mashed potatoes, Matt made his mom's knot rolls perfectly, and Jess and I made apple sausage stuffing, bacon green bean casserole, jello pudding, cranberry sauce and salad. Yes, we had entirely too much food for only two families! But the left overs were amazing the next day :) Oh and I almost forgot, Jessica also made pumpkin pie, chocolate cream pie and lemon meringue pie (yes I know, she is ridiculously amazing)! It was a wonderful visit, I am very excited to spend Christmas with them in a few weeks. Family is such a blessing and I am so luck to have the family that I do!
