Halloween
This has been the best Halloween to boot! Last year was fun because it was Regan's first Halloween, but this year was even better because she actually understood what was going on, actually she caught on VERY quickly! She was dressed as a little sunflower, the cutest sunflower there ever was if I do say so myself :) I even painted little dots on her face which she amazingly didn't rub off. We went trick-or-treating with all her cousins in Kennebunkport like we did last year. All the stores hand out candy and the length of the walk isn't crazy long so it was perfect. As soon as Regan realized that she was being given free candy she was really into it. She wanted to walk all the time and every door she saw she wanted to go in. I couldn't get her to say "please" even though she knows how to say it, but all the people handing out candy thought she was the cutest thing, especially when she help out her little hand for candy. If they let her grab herself she learned quickly to grab as much as her little hand could hold! She made out pretty good, and her parents are pretty happy about that :) Alexis was a cute little pumpkin and slept through the whole thing, she is such a good baby! She did get hungry eventually though which is when we called it quits and headed back to Grammy's house with everyone for pizza. It was a great night and I can't wait for next year! I am already "pinning" ideas for costumes!
Another exciting event that happened this weekend was that we got our first "Nor-Easter" snow storm of the season, in October! We got 3 or 4 inches at least and lost power for a day. Regan was excited about the snow and says "thaaat" every time she looks out the window. She played outside with daddy a couple times but I don't think she liked having to wear all her snow gear. Hopefully she gets used to it and can have more fun in the snow this winter.
