Wow, I am really not doing a good job keeping up with this! Things have been a little crazy as they are for most people around the holidays. I decided that this year, since I have developed a new love for sewing and we have a tight budget, that I would make all my Christmas gifts. I am REALLY excited about them! It feels so wonderful to be able to give something that I actually spent my own time and effort making. I bought my own sewing machine on Black Friday (it was definitely an impulse buy but I'm glad I did it!) because it was only $50 at Wal-Mart. I love it and I love sewing. It is really hard when I don't have someone to help with Regan though because she gets bored easily and wants my full attention. But when I am able to do it I have a lot of fun and feel so accomplished! My mom is a great seamstress and used to make me clothes when I was little. I don't know why I was never interested in learning how to sew before. The main reason I started is because I saw something really cute on etsy.com (my favorite website ever!) and knew that I could easily make it with a little help from my mother-in-law. So I bought some fabric and spent part of a day making it with Maryellen and it actually turned out really cute! I was so excited and couldn't wait to sew more. So, now I am making all my presents it is a big task, and I am not even close to finished, but it will be so fun to see everyone's face when they see what I MADE for them with my own two hands! I can't wait! This Christmas is going to be wonderful :)
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
